Singer 201 EH861605 Treadle Head

SOLD This Singer 201K head is ready to put into your treadle cabinet or fitted with a hand crank attachment and put on your base. This machine was one of 40,000 201's commissioned by Singer Feb. 9, 1953. This machine has been completely cleaned, serviced and tested and sews a beautiful stitch. It has some chips in the paint on the bed and inside pillar as well as along the front edge. However, the decals are still in good shape with some wear at the front edge and a small spot on the bed. Overall it is still quite a good looking machine.

Singer 66 - Lotus Decals - Back Clamping

For sale here is a Singer model 66 with the less commonly seen Lotus Decals. This is still a pretty machine and has many years of sewing life in it. The serial number is F4,454,311 which dates it to a batch of 65,000 machines commissioned between July and December 1913.... two more years and it will celebrate its 100th birthday!! This attests to the solid workmanship that went in the manufacturing of the beauty.

The class 66 machine is actually the 'big sister' of the popular model 99. This head is ready for installation into your treadle cabinet. You could also put in into a case and attach a hand crank mechanism to make it genuinely 'people powered'

This machine is a 'back clamper' meaning that the attachments fasten from the back of the presser bar rather than the side like most sewing machines. There are 4 additional attachments included with this machine.

Singer 319 Heavy Duty sewing machine

This is a really cool heavy duty Singer sewing machine. We nickname it the typewriter machine because of its funky keys at the right side which produce different stitches. It is good to install it into a standard Singer cabinet as it is heavy and needs to be lifted back to get the bobbin case into the machine, but it can be operated on a table top as well. It takes class 206 needles and bobbins. The Singer flat cams also fit on this machine allowing many further embroidery stitches. See here for a set of these cams. Singer Buttonhole Attachment 121795

This is the older style Singer buttonholer attachment which does not use cams, but is fully adjustable. It was designed for the Singer Lock Stitch Family sewing machines. A model 15 is pictured in the manual, but it fits on many other low shank sewing machines. This unit is in good shape and comes with an original manual which as just a few wrinkles and a bit of wear on the edges, but in very good shape. The box is sturdy and in good shape with some wear on the corners. It comes with the feed cover plate and screw. The unit itself is in very good condition.

Eureka Toy hand crank sewing machine on stand

Now here's a cute little toy hand crank sewing machine! It is a Eureka, made in Spain. Glenda Thomas has a Eureka in her second book Plate 2-763A pictured in a green colour. The table top measures approximately 10" wide by 18" long and is 22" tall (to the top of the table). It has a hand crank attachment and it can also be operated with 3 "D" batteries,

The machine is made of plastic with a metal base. There is a small crack in the top right hand corner of the machine and the tension knob is missing as well as a thread guide on the top left. It comes with a matching spool of purple thread :-). the table is in excellent shape and the base just has a few heritage marks on the metal here and there. There is some wear of paint on the bottom of the flywheel.

SOLD This British Singer model 12 hand crank sewing machine was made in 1889. It is in remarkable shape for being 120 years old! Serial number is 8,765,858. The machine is fully functional and has been cleaned and serviced. It sews a decent stitch. It comes with the original "bell" shaped case and has a sturdy handle.

Fashion Discs or Cams (also known as the 'top hat' cams) for Singer 400/500/600/700 series sewing machines. Not all these discs will work on all the above model machines. The 401 and 500 have a lot of these patterns built in, but the 403 and the 503 use many of them. The white flexi stitch cams came with attachments for the later Touch and Sew machines. SINGER 301 shortbed NA206128

This beige Singer 301 shortbed sewing machine was manufactured around 1952.

This tan 301 (the Featherweight's 'big sister') sews very well. It has been fully serviced and is ready to work the moment you receive it.

The machine originally came out of a cabinet and with this cradle is ready to put back into your cabinet.

You can also use the machine as a table top model. It has a fold away handle which makes transporting it easy. There is no case for the machine.

If have no use for the cradle, we would be willing to separate the two items and reduce the price of the package by $25.00US

The machine is in nice shape considering its age. It does have a few heritage marks as can be seen on the next few pictures

1934 Singer Featherweight 221 AD790713

This is a lovely very early Singer Featherweight 221 commissioned in November 27, 1934, part of the third batch of Featherweights ever made. According to Singer's records, it would be the 28,868th Featherweight machine that the company produced.

This machine has been cleaned and serviced and tested by a quilter. It sews a beautiful stitch and "purrs" wonderfully!

The case is the style with a top tray. It is an early type that still had a bluish green lining and brass hinges and locks. The carry handle on the top of the case is missing, although the two 'D' rings are there and securely attached to the lid. The case has had touch ups and some re-gluing of the fabric.

This machine was made in the days when Singer only made Featherweights in the USA. They did not start producing them in the UK until the late 1940's.

The controller is the older style and the wiring is still the cloth covered type, but is in very good condition, posing no hazards.

The end plates on these early FW's were not 'scrolled' right to the edge near the tension knob, like the later FW's were.

Attachments included:
ruffler, wide hemmer, edge stitcher, binder, gathering foot, rolled hemmer, seam guide and screw, small and large screwdriver and 6 bobbins. They are all nice and shiny.

This note was found in the top tray of the machine when we got it, stating that the machine was purchased in 1933. We are not sure how this was possible if the Singer dating records are correct indicating that the machine was commissioned in November 1934. However, the note goes with the machine.

This Singer low shank buttonholer fits the Featherweight, 201, 185, 99, 328, 15 etc. These buttonholers are amazing inventions! They stitch the most beautiful buttonholes. It includes the manual, five templates, 5/16", 5/8", 13/16" and 1 1/16" straight (1 1/16" keyhole template is in the buttonholer), cover plate and screw as well as the screw that attaches the unit to the machine.
