Singer 115 Treadle head or Hand Crank - 1913

This machine has also been cleaned, oiled, adjusted and tested by a quilter.  It sews a lovely stitch and is very smooth due to the rotary hook action.  The bobbin winder also works well and three bobbins will be included with the machine.  It is ready to pop into your treadle cabinet or install into your case and attach your hand crank mechanism to it.

Attachments  included in a Singer green cardboard box:  ruffler, edgestitcher, wide hemmer (black), rolled hemmer, gathering foot, zipper foot and binder.  It also includes an original manual in good shape.

This machine has been tested by a quilter.  It can also drop the feed dogs and does nice free motion quilting with a standard modern slant needle darning foot (not included).

The machine has been cleaned, oiled and adjusted and sews a beautiful stitch.

 This machine is a very nice and shiny, but does have the usual pin scratches as well as a wearing of the clear coat around the needle plate and some wear of the decals on the leading edge, as seen in the above photo

This machine was totally cleaned and adjusted and oiled.  It was originally an electric machine, but the wiring was "rotten" so it was removed and a spoked flywheel added.   You could put into your treadle cabinet or into a case and install your own handcrank mechanism.

It was also tested by a quilter and sews a beautiful stitch as shown in the photo below:
